BridgeHead HT Report

BridgeHead HT Report is available from BridgeHead partner, NexStor.

HT Report is an HT ISM tool designed to write and execute standard reports. The system allows other HT components to register their report interfaces so that a common reporting structure exists over the entire HT family of products.

HT Report provides two interfaces – a graphical user interface for designing and running reports interactively, and a command line interface for running reports in batch scripts. Resulting reports can be tabular or free format text, tabular HTML, graphic pie charts, or bar charts.

Some useful reports include:

• Nightly summary of all jobs

• Backup success percentage over time periods

• Tapes by location

• Tapes due for return from offsite storage

• File usage based on HT FileStore policy analysis

• Audit trail reports from FileStore or HT Data Repository

• Availability of scratch tapes in various libraries or jukeboxes
