• Microsoft Exchange (5.5 – 2003) - Archive Exchange mailboxes, journals, public folders and PST file content. Eliminate quotas, message size restrictions and simultaneously control message store growth. Admin-defined policies automatically archive email and attachments out of Exchange and into online KVS Enterprise Vault stores. Optionally, shortcuts are left behind allowing users to easily view or restore the original items transparently through Outlook or via extended web-based search functions.

• File System Archiving - “Out-of-the-box” archiving support for any application that generates and stores information in standard files. File System Archiving saves critical space on file servers by seamlessly moving files to alternative storage devices without impact on the end-user. Archive files, by age, size or other criteria. Items are compressed, stored and indexed centrally by KVS Enterprise Vault, and can be searched as well as retrieved transparently by users via optional placeholders.

• SharePoint Portal Server 2003 - Fast-growing volumes of intellectual content on SharePoint Portal Server are effectively archived and managed by KVS Enterprise Vault. Archive and offload older data to control the storage consumption of the SharePoint Portal Server. Newer, more frequently accessed content is retained within SharePoint with older, less frequently accessed content being moved to KVS Enterprise Vault yet remaining available to the end-user.

• Lotus Notes - Support policy-based archiving of email and attachments in Lotus Notes environments running Windows servers. (Ships in EV 6.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1) due in the second half of 2005.)
