Overland REO Multi-SitePAC remote data backup software automates the manual process of protecting remote data—without requiring changes to your existing data backup solutions or software. REO Multi-SitePAC seamlessly transfers backup data in virtual tape format from a remote REO to a central REO, where it can be consolidated, managed and archived.

At each remote location, the backup software transfers backup data to the REO with Multi-SitePAC, where it is stored in virtual tape format. Then, at a user-determined time, the REO Multi-SitePAC software automatically mirrors the data to the central REO. After the data is received, the backup software can optionally move it from the central REO to a tape device offering secure d2d2t storage for long-term archival.
