The Sun StorEdge L6000 tape library is a high performance, high capacity, enterprise class tape library for the largest, most demanding tape storage applications. It is offered in 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, and 6000 slot sizes per silo. Up to 24 silos can be connected for a maximum capacity of 144,000 cartridges. The Sun StorEdge L6000 tape library accommodates 9840B and 9940B tape drives from StorageTek. With proven reliability and scalability, the library is ideal for consolidation, minimizing floor space, and reducing storage total cost of ownership (TCO).
