The ADIC Scalar 100 is a mid-range tape library offering high density, high scalability storage with advanced storage networking options.

With the facility to grow from 15 to 96 tapes and from 1 to 8 drives, the ADIC Scalar 100 is the ideal solution for rapidly growing enterprise backup requirements. With up to 2TB of storage per rack unit, a standard rack unit can accommodate over 86TB in a very compact space (3 x Scalar 100s).

The ADIC Scalar 100 supports LTO-1, LTO-2, AIT-2, AIT-3, SDLT220, SDLT320 and DLT8000 tape formats.

• Up to 28.8TB in only 14 rack units
• Scales from 1 to 8 drives and from 15 to 96 cartridges in the same unit
• iSCSI or Fibre Channel connectivity
• Storage network interoperability means seamless integration into new or existing SANs
• Built-in diagnostics, redundant power supplies, and a 1,000,000 cartridge-change rating
• Password-protected, context-sensitive LCD menu display with backlight; displays library, drive, and mailbox activity
• Integrated web server (Remote Management Unit or RMU)
• Drive interface: LTO-2, SDLT320: LVD SCSI; LTO-1, AIT, DLT, SDLT: HVD or LVD SCSI
