StoreVault Software

Data ONTAP StoreVault Edition is based on Data ONTAP, the highly optimized, scalable and flexible operating system that powers NetApp enterprise storage solutions, but tailored to meet the needs of smaller and mid-sized businesses.

StoreVault Manager is the simple way to manage initial set-up and day-to-day storage tasks. With a familiar Windowsâ look-and-feel, the learning curve is virtually non-existent.

SnapRestore StoreVault Edition provides the capability to instantaneously restore files, directories or even an entire volume regardless of size. Because it is based on Snapshot technology, a file, directory or volume can be recovered to a particular point in time; and because the security attributes are retained with the Snapshot image, users can even recover their own lost files.

StoreVault Replication enables administrators to replicate data from a StoreVault S500 to one or more “destination” StoreVault S500 units. File-based or block-based data can be easily replicated over a WAN to a remote location to protect data in the event of a disaster or to distribute data to remote offices.
