ESVA F-40 (FC SAN) Delivering High Performance with Better Energy and Space Efficiency,The Infortrend ESVA F40 is designed to support a powerful, reliable and flexible Fibre Channel (FC) SAN. By housing 2.5-inch SAS drives. The ESVA F40 provides enterprise-class performance in a high-density 1U enclosure.

 Through expansion unit attachment, a single ESVA F40 subsystem can be scaled to provide a maximum of 48 SAS drives. By consolidating up to 12 ESVA systems into a storage pool, the maximum capacity can be further expanded to 576 drives.
