The Overland REO 9500D can be configured as multiple Virtual Tape Libraries, allowing fast and efficient backup to disk. Virtual library configurations can be easily modified as required.

The patented Hyperfactor process used in the REO 9500D is highly efficient, allowing all of the index data to be stored in RAM for fast access. This assures that high performance is maintained as the amount of stored data grows. This approach also allows for a byte by byte comparison of data, to assure absolute data integrity.

As a Virtual Tape Library (VTL) appliance, the REO 9500D arrives ready to integrate into your current backup infrastructure with no hassles. There is no software to install or setup, just configure your ideal VTL set-up with the easy to use configuration wizard. The REO is compatible with all major backup software packages, and requires no modifications to hosts or backup servers.
