Sun Fire 280R

The SUN Fire 280R is a dual processor 4U rack-mount server which uses the latest generation of SUN processor, the 1.2Ghz UltraSPARC III. The SUN Fire 280R with 750MHz, 900Mhz and 1.015Ghz processors have been discontinued but can be upgraded to a 1.2Ghz configuration. 750Mhz servers require a new fan tray in order to support the 1.2Ghz processor.

• Memory: Up to 8 GB of memory
• Disk: Up to 2 x 36GB/73GB front accessible hot-swap disk drives
