Sun Fire V445 server is extremely flexible for delivering low-cost, horizontally-scalable services and solutions. The server supports four 1.593 GHz UltraSPARC IIIi processors and 32 GB of memory in a newly designed 4 RU enclosure.

The Sun V445 server is the successor to the highly successful Sun V440. It is the latest SPARC/Solaris, four-way rack-optimized offering and includes a new I/O subsystem with four PCI-E and four PCI-X I/O slots, a new disk subsystem supporting eight 73 GB SAS disks with hardware RAID and four integrated Gigabit Ethernet adapters
