ServerIronGT C2404CF SSL (SI-GT-C2404CF-SSL) – Pre-equipped with 24-port 10/100 and 4-port Gigabit (copper and fiber combo) Ethernet ports JetCore ASIC-based line module and a a WSM6-SSL-1 management module. One processor on the management module performs dedicated and reliable device management while the application processor performs application switching, traffic management, SSL acceleration and Web optimization. This system delivers up to 50,000 Layer-4 connections per second including data transfer, or DoS protection against up to 1,200,000 TCP SYN requests per second. The SSL-enabled processor is capable of delivering up to 2,000 new SSL connections per second. This model is ideal for leveraging 10/100 server farms while adding Gigabit network connectivity today, and also future proofing the infrastructure for Gigabit server farm migration.
